Mrs. Kutty Padmini is the founder of Mithralaya trust which was established in the year 2005. She is  a prolific and prominent South Indian Movie actress, who started off as a child star in her debut film and starred in over 175 films across 6 languages and two English international films for 'Metro Golden Mayor'. Her talent of being a linguist enabled her to explore many industries within the Indian film fraternity, acting in movies ranging all the way from North India to South India. Apart from her tremendous success in the media industry, she always wanted to help the needy and to empower the women of our country which paved her way to start Mithralaya Trust.

Mithralaya Charitable Trust is a registered non-profit social organisation working for women's empowerment, children's welfare, and the needs of the poor across India. Since its inception it has been working towards supporting women who are not bound by their circumstances, providing education for the poor and orphaned children, and also by offering employment opportunities for the unemployed. Through this organisation we also strive to provide love, food, shelter, medical support and various other contributions to the welfare of the society.
